Food is still awesome, place is getting so busy we now have to wait for a table to sit. I am so hooked on the shrimp po'boy and the Carolina pulled pork. I wonder if it is the coleslaw that makes these so awesome? Love hos this place is so consistent each and every time. Wish they would put a location in SLC.

I have had most of the menu here over the years and have never been disappointed. It is nice to put a little South in your mouth while in Utah!

I have been wanting to check this place out since it is in my general neighborhood and the Yelp reviews were encouraging. My wife and I stopped by last night and both got the Chicken Guacamole sandwich (grilled, not fried and with Swiss instead of pepper jack) and we were very happy with the results!bun not flaky. The buns were amazingly light and had a great texture and flavor, almost like a fresh croissant but not flaky. The veggies were fresh and delicious, the cheese was Swissy, and the chicken was tasty. It was a great chicken sandwich! Very good value for the money. The decor is a work in progress but I really like the rustic feel they are going for. A fair amount of seating is a plus because the place is getting some solid business as it should given the food quality and price. Family friendly and also good for a date or even just hanging out with friends. The big plus for me is that the burgers come with a free side, and I chose the house salad which was Real Salad! It was a fresh greens mix with fresh red onion, croutons, a little cheese and it was really good. The fact that it was a real salad and was part of the deal was terrific surprise! Chubby's is a great deal and definitely on my list of regular haunts starting now! Good job guys! The only suggestion I would make is to have the guacamole be made from scratch with fresh avocados. The guacamole is good now, but that would make it a 5 star burger for sure!

One of the best Chicken sandwhiches I've ever had. Would definitely come back. The buffalo chicken sandwhich was actually covered in wing sauce!

One of the best burgers I have ever had. Got the bacon mushroom Swiss burger, it was great. Skip the fries, which are kind of generic, but good, and get the scones as your side item.

My go to lunch spot. I enjoy any of their burgers and the grilled chicken is great too. Can't go wrong with their beer battered fries as a side.

I realize that they are relatively recently moved to the other side of the Ace Hardware store, but a lot of the kinks with parking and in the interior were still kind of grating. The bathroom, for instance, does not have any sort of partition...though it does at least have a locking door. They do have a solid mix of Diet Mt. Dew (in a place like this, I find it ironically humorous) in the fountain, so they get a pass on the growing pain stuff. The interior is also extremely eclectic, with lots of old Americana stuff that's fun to look at and a few tvs scattered around. My lunches are inevitably spent working, so a lot of that is lost on me, but it's there. Ambiance altogether is...weird. As to the food, this place is not f*cking around. Not at all. When they say Chubby's, they definitely mean it and in terms of after-effects of eating there. What this means is rich, greasy, messy and ultimately delicious. The burger, easily the best I've had in Utah County, as in nothing else is even remotely close. It's not the best in Utah, certainly and it got to be a Hellish gloppy mess at the end, but it is very good. I think the one I had was the Deluxe and though I enjoyed it, I didn't enjoy how sloppy it was or the stupid chunks of Iceberg lettuce that kept falling out. My feeling is if a restaurant must use Iceberg, the least they could do is shred it. Amen. I opted to throw in an extra dollar for the beer fries option and that was quite wise of me to do. Those fries were fantastic, in the running for the best of Utah. I can't eat there a lot or it will be trouble, but aside from the kind of goofy way they have of ordering and so on, it was pretty much a very happy visit.

I had the Hawaiian chicken sandwich, my husband had the bacon cheeseburger. Best bacon cheeseburger I've ever tasted. The buns are amazing, I don't know what kind of crack they're putting in their meat. I want to come back and try everything.

Buns are super fresh! Good selection of burgers and the beer battered fries are the best! They only had one cash register for lunch so the line was long and slow. Otherwise great place. One other bad thing is their location it smells like fertilizer since it's right next to ace hardware so it feels like you are eating at the farm.

The Shrimp po boy is pretty delicious, I crave it. They are kind of all over the map with their menu and style but it makes it quirky and interesting. I like that they offer salads. The service is always very good. People talk about their BBQ and burgers, but we weren't all that impressed. It's very greasy. A good place to have around the corner, even though it's in a odd location next to Ace hardware. They definitely have lot of options for good grub, but nothing has really blown me away besides the shrimp po boy.

We tried this place based on a review we read. It was busy but we expected that for a Friday night. The menu has something for everyone, burgers, salads, sandwiches, and fries just to name a few. I had the Rueben with a side salad and my husband had the pastrami sandwich with a side of scones. The service was good and so was the food. I was a little disappointed that the food wasn't more outstanding. It was just typical fast food. The Rueben on rye was good. The side salad was ok but nothing special. I like my salad greens crispy and cold, my salad was neither. The pastrami was as expected. When we got done with dinner, my husband asked me if I would go back. Not sure at this point. It wasn't the greatest but it was good. I wouldn't avoid this place but if I'm in the neighborhood and I'm in the mood, then we'll go back. It's worth trying and see if you like it. We liked it but it wasn't anything special.

We have been fans of Chubby's since they first opened on State Street. We would visit almost once a week. Never had a problem. Ever since they moved locations, my husband and I have lost our faithfulness. We have been a few times to the new location, and the food does not seem to be a good as it was before. We tried to keep going and remain loyal. We always get our orders to go, and once we get home. something is wrong or not even included. We did learn to start checking before we left. The final straw for us was back in April. There is the counter that you order at, and behind that is the large window that the cooks pass the food through. As we were waiting in line, we saw one of the cooks pass a large salad to one of the girls running the food. There was a second cook who stopped the girl and pointed at something in the salad. The girl tried to hand it back to the first cook, and he plucked what was obviously a hair out of it. The girl then tried to pass it back to him, and he waved her away, telling her to run it. Once it was our turn to order, we asked a different girl what just happened. She went and talked to the cook. She did not tell us exactly what happened, but her face said enough. We told her we were going to eat elsewhere for that night, and she said she would too. My husband did call and tell the manager (owner?) what happened. The manager was very understandably upset. He apologized profusely, and said he put a gift card aside for us. We still have yet to have the desire to eat there again. It is good food when they get it right. I am sure this was a one time thing. But after continuously getting disappointing food every time we visited, then what he witnessed, we had to end our Chubby's Relationship. We hope they can find someone who makes them happy. It's not us, it's them,

Fantastic one of the best burgers I've had in Utah. Every bit as good as lucky thirteen in salt lake. I had the Bleu Bacon Cheeseburger and it was very good. Service was good too and the staff was friendly.

The best po' boys i've had outside Louisiana. Burgers are awesome. Beer battered fries are the way to go for sure.

One of the best spots to eat in Utah County! Highly recommend the Shrimp po boy, and I always add an egg to my burger.

Chubby's burgers are amazing. I had the beer-battered fries and the Jalapeño Ranch Deluxe Burger. It was one of the absolute best burgers I have ever had. The fries were crispy, but not dry and came out piping hot. I was advised by a Chubby's regular to get two or three little cups of fry sauce to accompany my meal, which I did. The fry sauce goes great on the burger, around the burger, under the burger, all over the fries, and even looks good on your shirt if you spill (which happened more times than I would care to admit). The burger was enormous. It could have been one of the seven wonders of the world. Stacked sky high with lettuce, thick bacon, and a hand-crafted patty, my burger was the only thing I could think for about an hour afterward. Packed with flavor, the tasty burger was like a party in my mouth. The jalapeños weren't too spicy and the bacon wasn't too greasy. It was just right, like Goldilocks. I might have considered buying another to place in a shadow box in my apartment if I wouldn't have been so tempted to eat it.

Food is great. We came just before a rush so it was quiet. Got the sweet buffalo tenders and would recommend them to anyone! My beer battered fries were okay, definitely not as good as I remember.

*sigh* wasted potential. The burger was good. Bacon was right on point. Beef was excellent quality and cooked just right. The bun was great. Unlike some other local joints, my bleu bacon had actual blue cheese on it. The fries on the other hand. They had the texture of having been brought in frozen and maybe not handled properly before they got fried. And had the distinctive, rank tang of having been fried in oil that should have been changed out days ago. These were the regular fries. the beer batter fries were slightly better but eh. My companion's burger had a nice half inch thick slice of pale pink tomato. I might go again for another burger, but I'll think twice before ordering fries of any kind.

Best fattening food ever! Obviously their food isn't skinny :) but when you don't care, go to Chubbys! My fave is the crispy chicken bbq. Coleslaw on a bbq sandwich was a life changing event for me. Amazing fries, either regular or beer batter both are great and their fry sauce! Yes!

Best burger in Utah county!!! Fresh buns, excellent beef, and a bunch of toppings make this place stand out. The price is fair for what you get here. My wife gets the wings and really likes them. I like to get the scones too.

This a place to get a great burger and fries. The burgers are juicy with great flavor not greasy. The fries are crispy and soft at the same time. I haven't been able to try a shake because they dont have a machine yet, but I look forward to the day. You can't go wrong ny choosing Chubby's

The decor leaves something to be desired but you don't go to a place called Chubbys for the art. Good sandwiches in big portions is the name of the game. Get the mac and cheese side.

Only been here once but I really enjoyed it. Fair prices and good food. My wife and I shared a chicken sandwich and a avocado burger. Both were delicious. Oddly enough, one thing I noticed and really liked was the bun bread. Perfect blend of soft and warm, but not at all dry. I'd like to go back to try their scones, they looked delicious. Now for the reasons why I only gave it 4 stars. First, their French fries weren't impressive at all (I don't think I'd get them if I went again). Next, the location wasn't exactly ideal, just attached to a grocery store and it kind of looked trashy from outside. The inside decor was good, but all 3 of the tables we tried out were pretty wobbly, which was just annoying while trying to eat. So not quite a 5 star, but most definitely worth stopping by and trying it!

I've been to Chubbys a few times now. The new location, is much better and more roomie. The fresh buns and beer batter fries are great! Try the cheesesteak, if you don't want a burger. Portions are large. Prices aren't bad. Staff Is average.

Bacon Blue Burger: the bacon was nice and crispy without being burnt. There was lots of tangy bleu cheese crumbles--yum! The burger was definitely fresh and 100% beef. Very delicious. BBQ Burger: Hubby liked the coleslaw and the sauce. There was hardly any pulled pork; but he said if there was more it'd be amazing. French fries were good. Excellent vehicle to get the fry sauce in our bellies. :) We got in before 12:30pm and it was perfect timing. By 12:30pm the line was by the door. It went quickly, but it was still a line. But there was plenty of seating for everyone. Fun, casual environment--great for everybody. Definitely want to go back and try everything else on the menu! Especially the yummy-looking shakes!

Oh boy, this is a place that will live up to its name if you aren't careful. If you like southern style home cooking, Chubby's doesn't disappoint. The new location is a lot nicer than the old one if you haven't been yet. The poboys take me right back to New Orleans and the red beans and rice and hushpuppies are great additions to any meal. Show up early if you want the cornbread as it always sells out fast. And if you go during the lunch hour, expect to wait a few minutes as the line can get pretty long, but the wait is worth it. The burgers are some of the best around . At Chubby's the food is good for your soul, if not so much for your body.

I could spend hours talking about what's good here but the short of it? EVERYTHING! We have tried just about every burger they have and have loved EVERY single one! The bun is perfectly chewy, and the flavors of each combination they make work perfectly to make your mouth super happy! You can also add anything you want to create your own custom burger- I'm a fan of adding bacon & a fried egg. I've also eaten 2 of the chicken sandwiches (buffalo and jalapeño ranch) and they were both delicious. Their chicken is heavenly! My husband always gets the beer battered fries (which I sneak some of) and I try to get the side salad- it's nothing fancy but it makes me feel like I'm making SLIGHTLY healthier choices- hahaha.

I don't get too worked up about burger joints but Chubby's burgers are OFF THE HOOK!!! I'm not kidding--really, REALLY good. My only complaint is about the entrance of the facility. The concrete outside the entrance is absolutely filthy. The carpet just inside the entrance is equally as bad and STINKY. It makes one wonder the condition of the kitchen and grill. Fix it. TODAY.

The best sandwich restaurant in the state! I have 3 different sandwiches and they have all been great. The downside is that it is not cheap but it's well worth every penny! You do get 2 huge sides. I highly recommend this resistant.

We were looking for something new to try tonight and were hoping to be amazed by a great local burger joint. Unfortunately, we were left a little disappointed. We tried a few things from the menu... The burger was great! From the fresh bun, large portions and great toppings. We also tried one of the chicken sandwiches. Again, great bun and nice portion size, but we were disappointed to find canned pineapple instead of fresh. The fish and chips left quite a bit to be desired. The fish is obviously a frozen, pre-battered fillet that was just thrown in a deep fryer. Hand-badered cod is so much better and not that much more work. One of the biggest disappointments was to find out that the fries are NOT homemade...just frozen fries thrown in the deep fryer. Again, not that hard to cut some fresh potatoes. Fresh ingredients can take a dish from okay to amazing!! Hopefully Chubby's will keep working on improving their menu so we can have a fabulous local, burger place from top-to-bottom!!

Very very yummy, and super fresh food. They are super good with getting orders out even if the line is out the door. Word of advice, stay alert because if you find yourself a regular here, you will become the name.. ;)

I'm not sure how we missed this place in years past, but we discovered it tonight and will be going back many many times in the future. the double chubby was probably the best burger I have ever had in my life. The fries weren't a wow factor as the burger was, I am excited to try a different side next time.

I really liked this place. It was just good old fashioned American Food. Any menu that serves shakes, scones, fries, burgers and wings catches my interest. I had the bacon ranch burger but with BBQ sauce instead of ranch. The bacon was well cooked and the sauce was good. The fries were solid but not over the top. Surprisingly enough I think the buffalo chicken strips and scones were my favorite part of the meal. Both were hot and fresh and the scones came with a wonderful honey butter dipping sauce. The prices are great and the place is clean. I will be back soon.

I'm rating this a 4.5 because it is easily one of the best burgers I've had in Utah County. The menu is huge with so many different options. If you don't like burgers, no biggie, because there is plenty of items to choose from. We had some chicken fingers, and dang they were good and definitely freshly dipped there. Scones- if you're into scones, then this is a must for a side. Wow they're good. The seating in this restaurant is big. There is plenty of room for big parties. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the food came out fast.

Chubby's is sooooo good. Unless you are on a diet. just in case you didn't understand this from reading the name "chubby's" this food is not healthy. If you are looking for some gluten free wheat grass hippy crap just don't even show up. Your not welcome here. If you want killer food that doesn't give a crap how many calories it has as long as it tastes amazing then you will LOVE this place.

This is my new favorite burger place in the area. They are better than JCW's, Purple Turtle, Culvers, and any other burger place I've been to around the area. I tried to think of a fault while writing my review and can't find one. I ordered a Guacamole Bacon Burger, with beer battered fries and a banana cream pie shake. There was a bit of a line, but the food was ready quickly. The burger was excellent. The bacon was crisp, but not too crispy, and full of flavor. The guacamole on it was great as well. The meat in the burger was great and a step above the other places in the area. The fries were also very good. They have fry sauce as well as a good variety of hot sauces you can put on your meal. I found a new Louisiana sauce that I really enjoyed. The shake was good as well, and full of big bites of pie. Overall it was a great, quick, tasty experience. I'm excited to go back and try some more of the menu.

It's been two years since our first review and this place still kills it. Hands down best burgers and beer battered fries. Our personal favorite is the mushroom swiss with extra sauce...To die for. We'll go at least a couple of times a month. Favorite treat meal!! Nicest owners!! Just love Chubby's!!

The mushroom bacon swiss burger was really yummy, there is a mushroom sauce in it which is a bit salty, husband loved it, I could use it with out. The beer battered fries were perfectly crispy and their ranch is delicious. Next I'm going to try the chicken fried steak on a Tuesday.
